Introduction: How to update windows 10 to 11

Windows 10 is still very much alive, but as consumers are moving towards newer and better hardware, Microsoft is moving towards a new version that will make it easier for people to upgrade from Windows 10.

To make this transition a bit easier and more seamless for the user, Microsoft has provided tools for users to update their operating system to the latest version of Windows.

This tutorial will show you how to update your Windows 10 system with the latest version of Windows and how to get started with the upgrade process.

Check for updates: Windows will check for updates and install them automatically.

Check for updates by going to Start > All Programs > Accessories > Windows Update. Click Check now.

Check the following:

• Windows 10 Home, 10 Pro, or Enterprise

• Assign a driver to this computer

• A new program that you want to install (the more different programs you have installed, the more likely it is that your computer will be affected)

If you have problems after installing these updates, contact your support team for assistance. (A Microsoft technical support call is available in most countries.)

Download the update: You can download the update manually from Microsoft

Microsoft has released a new version of Windows 10 (version 1809) which is intended to be the first major update to Windows since its original release in 2015. It will be available through Windows Update and can be downloaded from the Microsoft Download Center .

Microsoft has also posted a video on YouTube introducing what they call “Windows 10 Fall Creators Update”. This update is aimed at developers, who will be able to get their hands on it later this year.

As with previous updates, you need to download the update from Microsoft and install it manually. The update will not show up in your normal Windows Update process, so you’ll need to open your Control Panel and then click “Turn Windows features on or off” . After that you should find your updates listed on the left-hand side. Click the arrow next to each of them and select “Check for updates”. If it doesn’t take care of itself that should be all you need to do!

Install the update: Run the downloaded file and follow the instructions

I don’t know why Windows users remain on Windows 7. It’s just not right. Even though it’s been out of production for six years, when I got my new laptop, I installed the latest version of Windows 10—and it was a breeze.

Windows 10 is the successor to Windows 8, and while it has some new features, its biggest strength is the one that will be obvious to anyone who has ever been impressed by Apple’s OS X: the sheer number of free applications available for every platform (in fact, you can get most of them free via apps like Box or Google Drive). The downside to this is that there are so many different versions of each app that trying to figure out which one you need can be a pain in the ass. However, if you have an old computer and an old operating system, then all you need to do is run the file (which I’ve done above), then follow some basic instructions — just ignore the other instructions and everything should work fine.

Restart your computer: After the update is installed, your computer will restart

You have installed the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update on your computer. When you click “Start” and choose “Settings” in the menu bar, a message will inform you that the update is available. But if you want to start using the update, you must first restart your computer.

If you are on a PC running Windows 7 or 8, click “Start” (or press the Windows key), then click “Update & Security.” If you are on a laptop or tablet running Windows 10 (but not on a desktop), go to:

*** Computer > Devices and Printers

*** Device Manager

*** Device Manager > Printers and Faxes

*** Select your printer, and then click “Change Printer Mode.” Click “Printer Sharing & Collaboration only.” Then select your new printer from the list and follow the steps in this article: How to Install Windows 10 Fall Creators Update so all my devices can use it.

After selecting your new printer, click “OK.” For more information about this feature of Windows 10, see How to Restart Your Computer for the latest news about updates.

Now that your computer is back up-and-running, close all open windows and go back to where you were before installing this update.
